The company said yesterday that production testing at the 12 Pilot One wells has yielded a combined gas rate of 387,000 cubic feet per day with associated water of 2025 barrels per day.

Data acquired from Lacerta-7 suggests the well requires working over and will be cleaned out using Thor Rig 1, following current activity at the Pilot Three wells.

Meanwhile, Mitchell Rig 105 has completed drilling at the Pegasus CSM prospect in ATP 767P.

Wireline logs and core indicate that the Permian coal-bearing section was intersected as prognosed.

But the presence of volcanic sediment seems to have restricted the deposition of coals suitable for commercial CSM development. Pegasus-1 will be plugged and abandoned.

Sunshine Gas is also about to begin drilling at the Atria prospect in ATP 684P.

Mitchell Rig 123 is onsite and the first of a two-well corehole program, Atria 1, will spud today, Sunshine said.

Following Atria-1 and 2, Mitchell Rig 123 will return to Lacerta to complete the remaining core-hole program.
